Your life's Playlist

So, I haven't been around in a while. Why you ask? Because I've become part of an amazing ministry called REFIT. After two years of debating, I finally bit the bullet and became a cardio dance fitness instructor - and I've had the best time of my life. With that, I send out two emails a week, and prepare for class on Monday nights. I love it, but it has taken a lot of my time away from my writing.

So my thought? Why not share the love. Here is today's email that was sent out to my REFIT posse. You can always follow us on FB on our COMO REFIT page. If you live in the Columbia area, come workout with us Monday nights!

Beyond the Music

Creating your life's playlist

I've been so encouraged lately with everyone's participation in our REFIT ministry. I love reading posts on our Facebook page about people working out at home with the REFIT YouTube videos, or just working out in general. We may lead the class on Mondays, but it's the support from everyone that keeps us going throughout the week.

This week has been especially busy and when things seem to never slow down, I try to stop and remember WHO my life revolves around. It's not the people in my ministry, it's not my kids, and its definitely not me! When things seem hectic, I have a list of favorite worship music I listen to and it helps ground me. It reminds me why I am here, why I do the things I do, and most importantly who comes first -JESUS.

Our REFIT playlists are designed to be uplifting, fun, and empowering. We don't play songs that degrade women or support a lifestyle contrary to our beliefs. We want you to leave class feeling more like the daughter of Christ than when you first came in.

So, if you have been watching the YouTube videos (or if you haven't) and have a favorite song, we want to hear it! Reply here, or post it to the FB page....who knows, we might do your song next!
We love you all! Happy Thursday!
